Drink Responsibly. Alcohol should be enjoyed in moderation by adults aged 21 and over. If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol use, please seek help from a qualified professional.
1. Responsible Drinking
At Bourbon Nest, we are passionate about the craft and culture of bourbon — and equally passionate about responsible consumption. We encourage all our customers to:
- Drink in moderation and know your personal limits
- Never drink and drive — always arrange a designated driver or use a rideshare service
- Avoid alcohol if you are pregnant, nursing, or on medication that interacts with alcohol
- Stay hydrated and eat before or while drinking
- Look out for friends and family — never pressure others to drink
2. Age Restriction Policy
The purchase and consumption of alcohol is strictly limited to individuals aged 21 years and older in the United States. By placing an order with Bourbon Nest, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
- Valid government-issued ID may be required upon delivery
- We reserve the right to refuse delivery if age cannot be verified
- It is illegal to purchase alcohol on behalf of a minor
3. Health Risks of Alcohol
We believe in transparency. Alcohol consumption carries health risks, including:
- Short-term effects: impaired judgment, coordination, and reaction time
- Long-term effects: liver disease, cardiovascular issues, and dependency
- Alcohol interacts with many medications — consult your doctor if unsure
- Excessive drinking increases the risk of accidents and injuries
The U.S. Dietary Guidelines recommend that adults who choose to drink do so in moderation — up to 1 drink per day for women and up to 2 drinks per day for men.
4. Pregnancy Warning
WARNING: According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.
5. Safe Storage of Alcohol
To ensure the safety of your household, please store all alcohol products responsibly:
- Keep bottles out of reach of children and minors at all times
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Keep bottles tightly sealed when not in use
- Dispose of empty bottles safely and responsibly
