Caffo Solara Orange Liqueur
Description
Caffo Solara Orange Liqueur is an Italian orange liqueur produced by the Caffo family distillery, originally on the slopes of Mt. Etna in Sicily before becoming established at Santa Venerina (1915) and now at Limbadi, Calabria. Made from selected oranges, Solara delivers vibrant citrus flavor with balanced sweetness at 30% ABV — well-suited to cocktail use as a triple-sec/Curacao alternative or sipping neat over ice.
Caffo is one of the most historically respected Italian family liqueur producers, dating to the late 19th century when Master Distiller Giuseppe Caffo began distilling pomace on the slopes of Mt. Etna in Sicily. The Solara orange expression sits alongside the family’s amaro, sambuca, anisette, and other liqueur expressions in the broad Italian liqueur tradition.
