Casco Viejo Tequila Blanco

Casco Viejo Tequila Blanco is from the Camarena family in Arandas, Jalisco — a multi-generational tequila family operating the same estate grounds since the 1830s. Made entirely from Blue Weber agave grown in the Los Altos highlands (around 7,000 ft above sea level), with the iron- and clay-rich red soil and dramatic day-night temperature variation that produces the bright, slightly floral, citrus-driven highland agave character. Unaged, bottled directly off the still.

The Camarena family is vertically integrated, owning 18 fields of agave. Casco Viejo employs a patented production process called Zero D, integrating recycling into all aspects of production. Agave is cooked in traditional brick furnaces, fermented in wooden vats, and double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills — with the Blanco capturing the agave character in its purest, freshest form before any oak influence.
