Champagne Taittinger Champagne Brut Prelude Grands Crus
Description
Champagne Taittinger Brut Prélude Grands Crus is a Grand Cru Brut Champagne from Taittinger — brilliant pale yellow with silvery reflections indicating its high Chardonnay proportion, subtle and fresh on the nose with mineral aromas giving way to elderflower and spicy cinnamon, and a lively citrus-and-peach palate that develops over time toward a round, silky, lingering finish.
Prélude is sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards. Taittinger is one of the few remaining family-owned and operated Champagne houses, distinguished by extensive estate vineyard holdings of 752 acres including prestigious Grand Cru sites in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The house relies primarily on estate-grown grapes and uses a higher proportion of Chardonnay than other large houses — the signature Taittinger style.
