Charbay 24 Years Old No. 89 Brandy
Description
Charbay 24 Year Old No. 89 Brandy is a 24-year-aged American brandy distilled by Charbay during the winter of 1989. A classic Charbay expression — opening with caramel and toasty vanilla aromas, then layer upon layer of pear, jasmine, and dark chocolate, with well-balanced refinement and a nice heat-and-spice finish.
Founded in 1983, Charbay Distillery & Winery is owned and managed by Master Distiller Miles Karakasevic, his wife Susan, son Marko, and Marko’s wife Jenni. The Karakasevics are considered pioneers of the American artisan distillery movement — a family with a long line of distillers dating back to 1751 in the former Yugoslavia. In 2009 Marko became the family’s 13th-generation Master Distiller. Charbay is based in Napa Valley on Spring Mountain above St. Helena, California, producing vodkas and spirits distilled in an Alambic Charentais pot still.
