Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. was the visionary 19th-century distiller credited as the “Father of the Modern Bourbon Industry” — he pioneered the use of copper fermentation tanks, state-of-the-art grain equipment, and steam-heated warehouses, and was the driving force behind the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act. The Cured Oak release extends Taylor’s experimental approach into a contemporary release: cured oak barrels produce a smooth, well-balanced whiskey with caramel, vanilla, and subtle spice character.
