El Tequileño Añejo Gran Reserva is produced from 100% premium mature Blue Agave from the Highlands of Jalisco — combined with the mineral-rich water from El Volcán de Tequila and distilled in copper pot stills. Aged in American and French oak, it represents the marriage of El Tequileño’s finest Añejos and exclusive Reserve Extra Añejos, giving the tequila great depth and complexity.
El Tequileño is one of the most historically respected family-owned tequila producers, with the Gran Reserva representing the top end of their Añejo program. The American-and-French oak blend produces complementary cooked-agave sweetness alongside the gentle wine and spice character that French oak introduces.
