Fortaleza Reposado Winter Blend 2020 is the inaugural release of Guillermo Sauza IV's annual limited Winter Blend program — a special selection of Fortaleza Reposado barrels chosen for their exceptional balance and character, presenting the distillery's traditional tahona-produced Tequila Valley spirit at its most expressive seasonal best.

The Winter Blend program was established by Guillermo Sauza to celebrate the annual barrel selection that best represents the Fortaleza Reposado character in a given year — barrels chosen for the complexity, balance, and depth that the American white oak aging has developed. The 2020 release is the first of the series and sets the benchmark that subsequent years are measured against: citrus, caramel, butter, cooked agave, and sage on the nose leading into a full palate of cooked agave, citrus, vanilla, apple, earth, and cinnamon with the long, rich, oily finish that defines traditional tahona-produced tequila.
