Garrison Brothers Guadalupe
Description
Garrison Brothers Guadalupe is a port-finished Texas straight bourbon — four years in toasted and charred white American oak developing caramel, raspberry, cinnamon, and chocolate, then an additional two years in port casks imported from Portugal that add a luxurious, dried-fruit-laden finish over the underlying Texas bourbon foundation. Bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV).
Garrison Brothers was Texas’s first legal bourbon distillery, with all production rooted in the Texas Hill Country. The Texas climate accelerates barrel aging compared to Kentucky, with the Guadalupe expression combining the resulting concentrated Texas bourbon character with the dried-fruit and oxidative depth of Portuguese port cask finishing.
