Driven by his passion for wood management, Master Blender Billy Walker crafted the latest batch of this hotly anticipated release using the finest vintage Spanish Sherry oak, hand-selected from our enviable stock of over 50,000 on-site casks.
A marriage of whiskies from three Pedro Ximénez puncheons, Batch 3 of our 21-year-old delivers classic Sherry-matured indulgence. Expect sweet notes of mocha, sticky raisins and ginger biscuits, which perfectly complement the signature honeyed charm of the GlenAllachie spirit.
A limited release of just 2,400 bottles globally, this cask strength offering is bottled at 51.5%, with no added colour and without chill-filtration.
TASTING NOTES
COLOUR
Intense Walnut.
NOSE
Waves of black grapes, raisins and dark chocolate orange, with hints of coffee, stewed fruits and treacle syrup.
TASTE
Lashings of heather honey, cocoa dusted truffles and sultanas, followed by bursts of espresso coffee, mixed currants and brandy butter, with gingersnaps on the finish.
