Nao Spirits is the Goa-based Indian craft gin producer led by Anand Virmani and Jay Dhawan, distilling in traditional copper pots. The Himalayan juniper produces a distinctly different character from European juniper — pine-forward, resinous, with elevation-derived terroir. Hapusa’s botanical lineup includes gondhoraj lime, mango, coriander seeds, almond, ginger, cardamom, and turmeric — a botanical map of the Indian subcontinent rather than the standard European London Dry profile.
