Glengyle is the sister distillery to Springbank, also based in Campbeltown and operated by the Mitchell family with the same traditional small-scale production philosophy. The Kilkerran name (the Gaelic name for Campbeltown) covers the distillery’s entire single malt output. The Heavily Peated expression sits in the same Campbeltown peat tradition as Springbank’s Longrow, with its own distinct character from the Glengyle distillation regime.
