Mayalen Borrego Joven is a 100% wild cupreata agave mezcal artesanal from Mochitlán, Guerrero — potent yet silky, with caramelized notes infused with a floral presence and a slight hint of smoked lamb (borrego). The most delicate of Mayalen’s expressions.
Since 1949, the town of Mochitlán, Guerrero has enjoyed the craftsmanship of Mayalen’s maestro mezcalero, whose knowledge has been passed down as a family heirloom. Production focuses on wild agave varieties, fully hand-crafted and organic, with year-round access to natural spring water at the palenque. Mayalen respects the uniqueness of each lot and its original essence.
