Eighteen years of aging in oak transforms the underlying fresh sugarcane juice character into an exceptionally refined, complex rum with the depth that only long aging at one of Martinique’s smallest distilleries can deliver.
Neisson produces its rhum agricole exclusively from fresh sugarcane juice grown in the volcanic soils of northern Martinique — a terroir-driven approach that fundamentally differs from molasses-based rum production. The 18-year sits among the rarest and most refined aged expressions in any Martinique distillery’s catalog, with constrained production volume from the small family-owned cane fields and the patience required to hold spirit through nearly two decades of maturation.
