Old Grand-Dad Bonded is a 100-proof Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky straight bourbon — a high-rye recipe first bottled in 1882, named by third-generation distiller Colonel R.B. Hayden in honor of his grandfather, Basil Hayden.
The high-rye mash bill gives Old Grand-Dad a lighter, spicier character. The Bonded expression meets Bottled-in-Bond standards: the product of one distillery and one distilling season, aged at least four years, and bottled at exactly 100 proof.
