Pisco Mistral Nobel Pisco Reservado 40º
Description
Pisco Mistral Nobel Pisco Reservado is a 40° oak-aged Chilean pisco from the Mistral distillery in the Elqui Valley — a Muscatel of Alexandria and Pedro Jiménez grape-based pisco aged in medium-toast American oak barrels for 1–3 years, bottled at 40% ABV for a smooth, oak-rounded reserve expression.
Mistral is distilled in Pisco Elqui, a village in Chile’s sun-soaked Elqui Valley where pisco was first distilled in the country at the turn of the 17th century. The present-day distillery occupies a revamped century-old country house. The Nobel Reservado’s longer 1–3 year maturation in medium-toast oak builds a softer, more integrated character than younger expressions.
