Ron Añejo Carúpano Reserva 12 Exclusiva is a 12-year aged Venezuelan rum from Destileria Carúpano in Sucre State on Venezuela’s northeastern coast — amber in color with clean gold highlights, sweet aromas of vanilla, plantain confit, toasted almonds, and hazelnut toffee, with a velvety mouthfeel of coconut, vanilla, caramel, and toasted nuts and a well-balanced finish.
Destileria Carúpano is one of Venezuela’s most historically significant rum producers, with the Sucre State coastal location contributing the distinctive salinity and citrus character that defines Venezuelan aged rum. The Reserva 12 sits in the middle of the Carúpano lineup between the younger 6 Especial and the older 18 Limitada and 21 Privada expressions.
