Tasting Notes
Pretty but concentrated aromas of rose petal, dark cherry, cocoa, anise, and cardamom. A sweet cherry and plum entry leads to a zesty, baking-spice mid-palate and an elegant, lingering finish.
About Saintsbury
Founded in 1981 by David Graves and Richard Ward — who met as graduate students at UC Davis — Saintsbury focuses on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Carneros. The winery is named for George Saintsbury, the literary historian and oenophile, and is a long-standing pioneer of the Carneros region.
