Description
St-Rémy XO is the top expression of St-Rémy — the world’s number-one French brandy since 1886. Luminous amber in the glass with subtle, rich red hues; mature nose with delicate woody-vanilla aroma giving way to ripe fruit, jam, and honey; a delectable, rich, characterful palate of gingerbread, candied apricots, dates, figs, and nuts with a subtle, aromatic spice.
St-Rémy was created in 1886. The XO is built from eaux-de-vie selected from France’s most prestigious wine-growing regions — Burgundy, Champagne, Rhône Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon, Loire Valley, Bordeaux, and Beaujolais. Distillation takes place in both column and pot stills, with only the heart of the distillation selected. The eaux-de-vie are aged exclusively in small French oak barrels and then blended by the Master Blender into the mature XO style.
