Woodinville Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Description
Woodinville Straight Bourbon is a Washington State craft bourbon named “Craft Whiskey of the Year” at the American Distilling Institute Craft Spirits Awards — made entirely from grain grown for Woodinville on the Omlin family farm in Quincy, WA, with rich aromas of crème brûlée and spice cabinet and decadent notes of caramel, dark chocolate, and vanilla bean on the palate.
Founded by two friends with the late industry legend David Pickerell, Woodinville mashes, distills, and barrels in Woodinville before aging across the Cascades, where Central Washington’s extreme temperature swings drive flavor extraction from the oak. Barrel wood is open-air seasoned for 18 months to soften harsh tannins, then slowly toasted and heavily charred before filling.
