Angostura 1919 Caribbean Rum
Description
Angostura 1919 is a Caribbean añejo rum from the House of Angostura in Trinidad — a blend of light and heavy molasses-based rums aged a minimum of 8 years in charred American oak ex-bourbon barrels, with lots of toasty flavor.
The House of Angostura — founded by Dr. Johann Siegert, creator of the world-famous Angostura bitters — moved to Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1876 and began producing rum. The 1919 is a marvelous añejo expression. Enjoy neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails.
