Barsol Pisco Quebranta
Description
Barsol Quebranta is a single-varietal Peruvian pisco made from 100% Quebranta grapes — the most widely planted Peruvian pisco grape, traditionally producing a heavier-bodied, less aromatic, more spirit-forward pisco than the floral Italia or Torontel varieties. Distilled in small batches in a copper pot still to bottle proof, with no water or additives added.
Quebranta is the workhorse Peruvian pisco grape, producing the more austere, structured pisco character used in classic Pisco Sour construction. Where Italia and Torontel emphasize aromatic intensity, Quebranta brings body, structure, and a drier, more savory profile. Barsol’s Quebranta is a benchmark expression of the variety.
