Blanton's Takara Gold Box Single Barrel Bourbon

Blanton’s Takara Gold Box is the export-only Japanese-market expression of Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon — presented in a distinctive gold box and featuring a richer, more concentrated profile than the standard Blanton’s, with nutmeg and spices on the nose and powerful dry vanilla blended with honey, strong caramel, and corn on the palate. Medium finish with corn and nutmeg returning.

Takara Shuzo is Blanton’s long-time Japanese distribution partner; the Gold Box bottling has historically been an export-only expression intended for Japanese and Asian markets, with limited availability in the United States. Like all Blanton’s, each bottle is drawn from a single barrel selected from the center of Warehouse H at Buffalo Trace Distillery, and topped with the iconic horse stopper.
