Champagne Taittinger Champagne Brut La Francaise
Description
Champagne Taittinger Brut La Française is the flagship non-vintage cuvée of Taittinger — pale gold with fine, pinpoint bubbles, aromas of white fruit and wild berries leading to flavors of toast and yeast, with excellent minerality and a refined, full-bodied, round finish.
Taittinger is one of the few remaining family-owned and operated Champagne houses, distinguished by extensive estate vineyard holdings of 752 acres including prestigious Grand Cru sites in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The house relies primarily on estate-grown grapes and uses a higher proportion of Chardonnay than other large houses — the signature Taittinger style. Aging well exceeds the legal minimum, a long-standing Taittinger hallmark.
