Corralejo Extra Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila, double distilled in copper pot stills and aged 36 months in American oak barrels of no more than 200 liters — the small barrels and three-year maturation building roasted, oak-forward depth.
At 36 months in American oak, Corralejo Extra Añejo develops the integrated wood character and roasted hints that define the extra añejo category. The double copper-pot distillation gives the spirit a clean, refined base for the extended aging.
