Description
Don Ciccio & Figli Nocino is a traditional Italian green-walnut liqueur — hand-harvested whole green walnuts picked in early to mid-June, beginning on June 24th (San Giovanni’s Day) per tradition, then macerated for 8 months and rested in steel vats for 3 months. A bittersweet liqueur with aromas of green walnuts, brown spices, vanilla, and ripe berries, and a long, rich finish. 29% ABV. The recipe dates to 1933 and is produced only once a year.
