Distilled from 100% cane sugar from fields in the eastern hills of Uruapan, Michoacan. Unlike cloyingly sweet rums, this one focuses a bit more on the pure cane sugar flavors. Herbal and fruity with nice balance in this blanco form. On the nose, soft cane frames orchard and tropical fruits. The taste is on the fruity side with a touch of spice to balance out the flavors. The finish is solid with soft fruit and spice lingering. All together pleasant and easily sipped neat or in a cocktail.
