Luxardo Cherry Liqueur "Sangue Morlacco"
Description
Luxardo Sangue Morlacco is produced entirely from Luxardo marasca cherry juice — the second product created by the Luxardo family after their original Maraschino. Rested in oak for nine months during natural fermentation at 30% ABV. Deep garnet, intensely bittersweet, and aromatic with dark cherry and almond character that sets it apart from sweeter cherry liqueurs.
Marasca cherries are a sour variety grown around Torreglia and the Dalmatian coast — the Luxardo family’s original home before relocating production to the Veneto after World War II. The nine-month oak rest adds depth and integrates the bitter cherry character without masking it.
