Pisco Mistral Añejado en Roble Gran Pisco 46º
Description
Pisco Mistral Añejado en Roble Gran Pisco is a 46° oak-aged Chilean pisco from the Mistral distillery in the Elqui Valley — a blend of Muscatel of Alexandria and Pedro Jiménez grapes aged in American oak barrels for 6–12 months, bottled at 46% ABV for an overproof, oak-rounded expression.
Mistral is distilled in Pisco Elqui, a village in Chile’s sun-soaked Elqui Valley where pisco was first distilled in the country at the turn of the 17th century. The present-day distillery occupies a revamped century-old country house. The Gran Pisco añejado’s extended oak time and higher proof give it weight and warmth suited to sipping and stirred cocktails.
