Redbreast 18 Year Old is a new permanent addition to the Redbreast family — matured in a blend of ex-bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks, cream sherry casks, and ruby port casks for 18 years, with the addition of cream sherry casks from the esteemed Antonio Páez Lobato cooperage marking a distinctive expansion of the multi-cask program that defines the Redbreast house style.

The inclusion of cream sherry casks — a rarity in Redbreast whiskey, sourced from Antonio Páez Lobato — is what makes the 18 Year distinctive within the range. Cream sherry is a sweeter, lighter style than Oloroso, contributing honey, dried apricot, and a softer sweetness that complements rather than duplicates the darker, richer Oloroso influence. Combined with ruby port's berry-fruit complexity and the bourbon barrel's vanilla foundation, the four-cask program produces the fruity aroma, hazelnut chocolate depth, and caramelized stone fruit sweetness that the Master Blender designed this expression to deliver. At 46% ABV and 18 years, it sits at the fully developed middle of the Redbreast range — above the 15 Year in complexity and age, below the 21 Year's tropical fruit apex.
