Rezpiral Arroqueño / Espadin / Tobasiche is an ensamble (multi-varietal blend) artisanal mezcal made by Simeon & Apolonio Ramirez in the community of San Agustin Amatengo, Oaxaca — combining the slow-maturing wild Arroqueño, the cultivated Espadin, and the wild Tobasiche (karwinskii family) into a single blended expression.
Ensamble mezcals like this present a layered character that single-varietal expressions cannot — the Arroqueño’s richness, the Espadin’s foundational agave structure, and the Tobasiche’s mineral complexity each contributing to the finished blend. Rezpiral’s producer-focused approach connects the drinker directly to the Ramirez producers and the San Agustin Amatengo community.
