Shibui 18 Year Single Grain Whisky is an 18-year Japanese single grain whisky aged in 100% sherry casks — including manzanilla and fino — with milk chocolate and caramelized walnuts on the nose and chocolate-covered red cherries, Madagascan vanilla bean, and black licorice on the palate, finishing with soft sweet oak and a lingering nuttiness. 43% ABV.
Shibui sources Japanese-style single grain whiskies for the international market. The 18 Year is the most aged expression in the single grain lineup, with extended sherry-cask maturation producing the rich chocolate and dried fruit character.
